India’s leading SUV manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its flagship global SUV-XUV 700 (XUV, pronounced as 7 double ‘O’) in Nepal.
The company believes that the XUV 700 is suitable for Nepali consumers and will give satisfaction to the customers. According to the company, ‘XUV 700’ has become the first Mahindra SUV in Nepal. Which has come with a new identity – Twin Peaks logo. According to the company, Nepal is the second market outside India after South Africa. Due to this, XUV 700 has been launched in Nepal.
In Nepal, the XUV 700 will be available in five and seven-seat capacities with manual and automatic petrol engine options, the company said. The XUV 700 is the winner of India’s most prestigious Indian Car of the Year Award 2022, and is the most honored car to have won a total of 31 awards, the company said. This includes breaking the endurance record of covering 4000 km in 24 hours. The XUV 700 has become the first Indian SUV to travel on India’s highest motorable road – Umling.
The company has informed that the introductory price of Mahindra XUV 700 is Rs 74 lakh. This introductory price will be applicable for one month from the date of publication with initial delivery in February 2023.
XUV 700 has set a new standard in Nepal’s premium SUV segment, the company said. The SUV has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and cluster, six-way powered driver’s seat and a class-leading music system with 12 Sony speakers as premium features. It also has a panoramic sunroof and dual zone climate control.
The company said that it has also received a five-star safety rating by GNCAP for adult safety. According to the company, the SUV has become the first made-in-India and proprietary brand to offer Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) as a safety option. With its sci-fi technology, exhilarating performance with world-class safety, the XUV 700 is engineered to dial up adrenaline like never before.
According to the company, the XUV 700 Twin Peaks brand SUV will be available from the showroom. Which is structured to provide premium experience to Nepali customers. Initially, the XUV 700 will be available from two Twin Peak brand showrooms in Kathmandu. Twin Peaks network will be expanded to five showrooms across Nepal by March 2023. The new showroom is designed to enhance the customer experience and bring in a new customer base for Mahindra, the company said.
